I don't know if anyone watches Emmerdale, but they have recently changed their font which is used in the title at the start of the program. I feel that this particular choice of type gives the impression that Emmerdale is a modern soap and if the image was not displayed in the background then I feel, that it would communicate a program set in the city. It also looks more like a cooperate logo for a company rather than the title of a traditional countryside show which has been around for many years. The font which should be used a more traditional looking serif fonts such as; Baskerville and Palatino.
